If you haven’t heard, there is a potential issue with Chinese Drywall in homes built after 2000.  Not a lot is known about it at this time.  To be safe, we have modified the All Inclusive Disclosure Waiver  to incorporate the following language:

“Consumers have reported health symptoms or certain metal corrosion problems in their homes that may be related to drywall imported from China. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), together with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), is investigating the matter.  Currently the CPSC not aware of any definitive test to determine if a home has problem drywall.  Information as to this issue can be found at http://www.cpsc.gov/ and http://www.cpsc.gov/drywall.pdf
